2026 Proposed Amendments

Linked below are the Amendments that will be discussed at the 2026 Grand Guardian Council Session.  There are a total of 67 Amendments and they have been grouped in 3 categories as noted below.  Please open each pdf file to review all amendments in each category.

What is a Consent Calendar Amendment:

• A consent calendar is a single agenda that bundles non-controversial items together so the group can approve them all at once with a single motion and vote.
• The Grand Guardian will announce the consent calendar and ask if any member wants to pull or remove any item for separate discussion
• A member shall obtain the floor, and state which item number they wish to remove (e.g., “I’d like to pull amendment XX-X”). No vote or debate is needed to pull an item; it is removed automatically.
• The Single Motion: The chair asks for a motion and second to approve the remaining consent items as a single block, followed by a unanimous or voice vote.
• Addressing Pulled Items: Any removed items are immediately moved to the appropriate section of the regular agenda for live discussion and a separate vote.
