Each year, California Job’s Daughters has a community project that we raise funds, assemble items, volunteer at, or generally support. We call this a philanthropic project. It’s our opportunity to give back to our communities, sometimes local and sometimes around the nation. They change yearly, and have included amazing organizations such as Canine Companions for Independence, Direct Relief, Freedom Dogs and more. Check out our past projects to find out more about the different organizations we’ve given back to, or to get involved with those organizations.

2026 Philanthropic Project

California Job’s Daughters is proud to support Special Olympics California as our 2026 statewide philanthropic project, reflecting our shared values of inclusion, friendship, leadership, health, and service. Through this partnership, members will help empower children and adults with intellectual disabilities by participating in the Polar Plunge fundraiser, volunteering at local competitions, promoting awareness and acceptance campaigns, and engaging in inclusive community activities. These efforts will provide meaningful support for Special Olympics athletes, helping them build confidence, form friendships, and realize their full potential—while giving Job’s Daughters valuable opportunities to grow as leaders, advocates, and compassionate community members.
